There is some drifting on the East-West roads. Please be patient as the buses try to reach each of our Tigers safely. Buses may be running a few minutes behind or ahead, depending on necessary route changes.

TIME CHANGE: Food pickup for virtual students will be from 9:00 am-10:00 am on Mondays only. Location will still be the side door to the HS Cafeteria.

Our salmon hatchlings are getting more active! Here are some pictures from this morning and even a quick video to show you how active they are!

Mr. Pathic has done an awesome job of bringing the "Salmon in the Classroom" project to CPS! Last week he picked up the salmon eggs and we already have some hatching! Today, his students learned about testing the water levels and the importance of water quality. #GoTigers!

Unfortunately, our picture re-takes for tomorrow have been cancelled by Lifetouch. We will keep you posted on a rescheduled date. We apologize for the late change in plans.

Internet and phones are back on! Teachers will resume Zoom meetings as scheduled.

A FURTHER UPDATE ON THE UPCOMING CHANGES FOR OUR 9TH – 12TH GRADE STUDENTS. CHROMEBOOK LOAN AGREEMENTS WENT HOME TONIGHT WITH OUR STUDENTS, PLEASE HAVE THAT SIGNED AND RETURNED TOMORROW SO WE CAN SEND A CHROMEBOOK HOME WITH YOUR CHILD. THAT FORM WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE UNDER “MENU”, THEN “COVID RESOURCES” AND CAN BE SIGNED ELECTRONICALLY.
WE WOULD LIKE THIS DONE BY ALL FAMILIES DISTRICT-WIDE SO WE ARE READY SHOULD A WIDER CLOSURE BE PUT IN PLACE IN THE FUTURE. IF YOUR CHILD DOES NOT NEED A DEVICE, ONE WILL NOT BE GIVEN.
HS TEACHERS WILL COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR STUDENTS WHAT THEY HOPE THE NEXT 3 WEEKS LOOKS LIKE FOR THEIR CLASSES. AT THIS TIME, IT IS EXPECTED THAT STUDENTS CAN ZOOM WITH THEIR TEACHER DURING THE SCHEDULED CLASS PERIODS. THEN, BASED ON ASSIGNMENTS THE TEACHER WILL MAKE FURTHER PLANS WITH EACH CLASS.
DURING THIS CLOSURE, STUDENTS WILL BE GRADED; PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD UNDERSTANDS THIS.
IF YOUR CHILD IS A SPECIAL EDUCATION STUDENT OR YOU HAVE INTERNET CONNECTIVITY ISSUES, EXCEPTIONS CAN BE MADE FOR REMOTE LEARNING. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT EITHER, OR ANY INDIVIDUAL SITUATION THAT INTERUPTS YOUR CHILD’S ABILITY TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN A VIRTUAL SETTING, PLEASE CONTACT MRS. CAMPBELL AT THE HS OFFICE AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO REMOVE OBSTACLES IF WE CAN.
PICK UP MEALS WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE ON MONDAY’S FROM 9-10 AND 5:30 – 6:30.
THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND UNDERSTANDING.

Career Center is canceled tomorrow (11-16-20) due to a power outage. Career Center students will be dismissed after 4th hour.

Per the MDHHS (Governor), High School instruction moves to remote instruction on Wednesday through December 8th. We will take the next two days of in-person HS instruction to sort it all out then make sure our families have the scoop! PreK-8th grade in-person instruction stays in tact.
No extra curricular activities during this 3-week window.

Some of Mrs. Foote's 3rd grade class shared a Reader's Theater performance with me on Veterans Day, honoring our Veterans! Thank you for your service!
