Our Community Spotlight this month is ReeMarkables & the Alli Bar. Owner, Marie Willis, is a graduate of CPS Schools, is a retired teacher from CPS Schools, and is now one of our generous community supporters! Marie hosts events for the school, she donates to our many school events, and she is always a positive supporter of CPS Schools!

Our Student Spotlight this week is Hailey Carter! Hailey is a senior at CPS High School and was the fall Homecoming Queen.
Hailey attends the Career Center in the BioTech program. She recently came to the Elementary and read to the students for the FFA program!
Hailey participates in volleyball, basketball, and equestrian at CPS. She also competes every weekend in barrels and poles for rodeo. Last year, Hailey ranked 1st in the state in barrels and 5th in the state for poles. This year, she is expanding her competition field to include Georgia, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. Hailey is such a hard working student and competitor.
She is a great leader and has an exceptional work ethic.




Our Staff Spotlight for this month is Mr. Edd Lawson! Edd is an integral part of our information technology staff at CPS Schools!
Mr. Lawson supervised a D&D Club at the Middle School. CPS is in the process of starting up e-sports and he will be the coach! Mr. Lawson also runs the timing system at track & field! He was “the voice” announcing at the Regional Basketball games hosted at CPS. Finally, Edd helps us use the VR Head Sets in every classroom throughout our district!

Reminder for our Elementary Families:
As much as we all enjoyed the nearly 70* weather yesterday, it is now SUPER chilly! Recess temperatures were at 25* (12* with windchill). Please send your Tiger with proper recess gear (coat, hats, gloves) every day. We go outside for recess if it is above 10* and if it isn't raining.

The Elementary ABC Club trip to the Sandusky ice rink is today! if you are able to come help tie skates, we would love to have you join us! We should be there around 12-12:15! Congratulations to those Tigers who have earned this reward!

Basketball Schedule Change!!
Dryden is not coming for the Jr High boys game tonight due to bus trouble. The CPS boys will divide up and play a scrimmage game at 5:00.
Varsity Girls will follow hopefully at 6:30 if arrangements can be made with Landmark🏀

The Elementary's PTA will be holding the annual Tin Can Auction on February 16th! Tickets can be pre-ordered (see details on the flyer). If you'd like to make a donation, it can be dropped off at the elementary at your convenience!


We are going to be reinforcing our drop off and pick-up routines at the elementary school building. Our number one priority is to keep our kids safe and we would appreciate your help with that by following our pick up and drop off procedures! Please see the attached letter that was sent home today!
