Listen along to the CPS Middle School Band! They are amazing for the short amount of time that they have been part of this program. Great job students and Mr. Jon Tockstein!

Ms. Miracle's class gave me this great poster at the end of the day with numerous reasons why we should have a PJ Day tomorrow. With evidence like this, who could say no? So.......Elementary Tigers are invited to wear PJs tomorrow if they'd like! Dismissal is at 11:45 am!
In the spirit of the holidays and thinking that anything can happen in 2020, Santa came to visit CPS Elementary this afternoon! Our kids were very excited to see him! Thank you to Santa for visiting and also Mr. James McBride for bringing Santa to CPS Elementary!

We sure enjoyed kicking back and socializing during our lunch today! Thanks for taking care of us and making the staff feel special! It's just another great day to be a Tiger!

Good morning Tigers! We want to remind our families that food pick up is available from 9 - 10 am this morning. We will also have a food pickup next Monday, December 21st from 9 - 10 am but it will only be for the 2 days of learning next week. There will not be a food pick up during break. Have a great Monday everyone!
Our Virtual Elementary music concert will be recorded on Friday, December 18th. Mr. Tockstein has asked students to dress for the performance. See the flyer for more details!
Check out this resource page from our school Social Worker. There are social stories for kids (specifically one about Christmas) and some self-care ideas for teens as well. Worth a look! https://padlet.com/lindsaytheobald/ievybnws8x03smvy
The Covid “pause” that has our 9th-12th students learning remotely has been extended through December 20th. Nothing changes for our students. Whatever you did today, you do tomorrow! Keep up the good fight🐅
CPS is looking to add to our custodial team! Check out our job posting here: https://5il.co/nn79

There is some drifting on the East-West roads. Please be patient as the buses try to reach each of our Tigers safely. Buses may be running a few minutes behind or ahead, depending on necessary route changes.
TIME CHANGE: Food pickup for virtual students will be from 9:00 am-10:00 am on Mondays only. Location will still be the side door to the HS Cafeteria.
Our salmon hatchlings are getting more active! Here are some pictures from this morning and even a quick video to show you how active they are!

Mr. Pathic has done an awesome job of bringing the "Salmon in the Classroom" project to CPS! Last week he picked up the salmon eggs and we already have some hatching! Today, his students learned about testing the water levels and the importance of water quality. #GoTigers!
Unfortunately, our picture re-takes for tomorrow have been cancelled by Lifetouch. We will keep you posted on a rescheduled date. We apologize for the late change in plans.
Internet and phones are back on! Teachers will resume Zoom meetings as scheduled.
