This is just a very general outline of the things we will try to complete this year. Some changes will occur and some nforeseen circumstances will prevent us from adhering to this as if it were carved in stone. The syllabus should however give you an idea of the work and the commitment you and I will be expected to demonstrate. While I am not a person to stick tightly to the confines of this syllabus I am committed to the concept of constant work with fun. You should expect to keep a sketchbook, a written journal, your work in a protfolio,to read, to write, to discuss, to look, to listen, to think, to solve problems, to seek skills. I am expecting these of myself as well. We will learn together.

To be creative is not difficult it is however real work
90% perspiration, 10 % inspiration

How to get an A in this class-

1. be here on time, everyday as much as possible
2. USE YOUR CLASS TIME TO WORK,WORK,WORK
3. do homework as assigned- sketches and journal are a must
4. respect - each other, the materials you are given to use and yourself
5. be responsible for yourself, help others and clean up willingly
6. ask questions and seek answers - of yourself, the teacher, your classmates,and the world in general
7. bring treats for the class for no reason with no expectation of reward
8. remember that you are your best asset- use your mind to see your world.
