Welcome to the 2011-12 School Year!
Welcome to our third grade classroom. I taught special education in the elementary for 9 years. This is my second year as a third grade teacher. I got my love of teaching from my grandmother. I am married and have no children, but have 2 nieces who I love to spoil. I am looking forward to teaching and learning with my third graders and their families. I love to read, make cards, and go for walks. I love chocolate and my favorite animals are dolphins, then penguins.
Mrs. Hurley and I switch: she will be teaching math and I will be teaching Michigan History and Language Arts.
Upcoming events: New book orders are due by Nov. 8th (Tuesday). Friday Nov. 4th is the end of the marking period, already? Look for parent-teacher conference sign-up.
Spelling list for Oct. 31- Nov. 4th: once, animal, life, enough, took, asked, being, below, best, better BONUS: Applegate, peninsula, Native
