2009-10 School Calendar Adjusted
The Carsonville – Port Sanilac Board of Education, at the January 14, 2010 meeting, approved a plan to reduce the 2009-2010 school year by two days. School will not be in session on February 12th or on February 15th. This will reduce the school year from 180 days to 178 days , which puts the District in line with other Sanilac County Area School Districts . The 2 day reduction will save the district approximately $4,000 in the 2009-2010 school year.
Eight minutes of student instructional time will be added to each school day beginning Monday, January 25th. Elementary school hours will now be from 8:06 a.m. until 3:14 p.m. and High School hours will be from 8:06 a.m. until 3:04 p.m.
