The Board of Education approved that Superintendent, Harold Titus proceed with interviews for a contracted, part-time elementary counselor beginning in the 2008-09 school year. The student case load and cost will determine the schedule of hours and days of= the week to be worked.

Passed:            By unanimous vote that the Board of Education approved supporting the position th= at Memphis Public School Distr= ict withdraws from the NCTL. It is important to the Board that all NCTL member schools address this issue. It is also important that a meeting of all NCTL Superintendents be held to discuss the issue of Memphis withdrawing from the NCTL in an orderly fashion.

Passed:&nbs= p;           By unanimous vote that the Carsonville – Port Sanilac School District Board of Education approves the 2007-08 budget, which projects general fund revenues of $5,045,242 and projected expenditures of $4,895,456, with a projected fund equity of $970,= 080.

Passed:        &= nbsp;   By unanimous vote that the Carsonville –= ; Port Sanilac School District Board of Education approves the 2008-09 budget, whi= ch projects general fund revenues of $5,033,828 and projected expenditures of = $4,991,851, with a projected fund equity of $1,012,057. The non-homestead tax for the 2008-09 school year will remain at 18 mills. The district has a non-homestead taxable value of 1,012,057.
