Information
Joseph Sutherland, Elementary
Principal reported that

CPS
Elementary School will be moving to Camp Ozanam on June 8th, 9th,
10th, & 11th. Camp volunteers are needed.
Ø
Ms.
Robson and her sixth grade students had a successful, well attended Alternative
Energy Fair.
Ø
The
Elementary School has organized softball and kickball for students at recess.
Also, Mr. Dorland has outlined a mile track for the Walking Club.
Ø
Thank
you to the Carsonville Fire Department for helping with the Elementary Fire
Drill.
Ann Binienda, High School Principal
reported that
Ø
Prom
will be held on May 9th. Tickets are $25 per person.
Ø
Seventh
and Eighth Grade “Spelling B” students will compete at the Sanilac Career
Center.
Ø
Junior
High Mass Band will be held at the High School on Tuesday, April 21st.
Ø
Thank
you to the Carsonville Fire Department for helping with the High School Fire
Drill.
Harold Titus, Superintendent reported
that

Todd
Christy generously donated 2 Network Closets, Network Switches and Fiber Line
to the District.
Ø
Jeremy
Macejewski, Athletic Director will be looking into the installation of a
Backstop Net at the High School. This net will aide in the prevention of foul
balls flying onto M-46.

President reported that

CPS
Alumni Timothy Blasius was named a University of Michigan Angell Scholar. Tim
has maintained all As with a full course load for 6 consecutive terms. Also, as
one of the top 5% of his class, Tim has been inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
